Data Deletion Instructions

You can request deletion of your personal data associated with Duolibro as outlined below.

Immediate Self-Service

• Delete Account (roadmap): A self‑service delete button will remove your authentication record, generation jobs, wallet, and reviews.
• Remove Reviews: You can delete your own reviews individually from any book page.

Manual Request

Until full automation, email privacy@duolibro.app from the address tied to your account with the subject "Delete My Duolibro Data". We will confirm and delete within 30 days.

Scope of Deletion

• Firebase Auth user record
• User Firestore document & library entries
• Generation jobs & stored story JSON
• Wallet and ledger entries (except records required for financial compliance)
• Reviews you authored

Data Retained

• Aggregated, anonymized analytics (cannot be linked back to you)
• Financial transaction metadata required by law

Verification

We may request additional verification if email ownership is unclear.

Third Parties

Stripe retains limited purchase metadata per legal requirements. OpenAI logs may persist per their retention policy.
